Responsibilities
- Conceptualize, plan, and execute 15+ high-stakes events annually (500-5,000 attendees)
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, venues, and internal stakeholders
- Manage $2M+ annual event budgets with financial forecasting and cost optimization
- Develop innovative event tech integrations (AR/VR, RFID, live streaming)
- Oversee risk mitigation, crisis management, and compliance protocols
- Analyze post-event metrics and ROI to drive continuous improvement
- Negotiate contracts with premium venues and suppliers globally
Qualifications
- 7+ years progressive experience in corporate events management
- Proven track record executing complex multi-day conferences ($500K+ budgets)
- Expertise in event tech platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, Eventbrite)
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Exceptional vendor management and negotiation skills
- Advanced proficiency in budget forecasting and financial modeling
- Strong crisis management and problem-solving abilities
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ signature event campaigns
