Responsibilities
- End-to-end event lifecycle management: conceptualization, planning, execution, and post-event analysis
- Strategic vendor coordination with hotels, caterers, AV providers, and creative agencies
- Financial oversight: budgeting, cost control, and ROI reporting for 15+ annual events
- Team leadership: mentoring 5+ event coordinators and freelancers
- Crisis management and on-site troubleshooting for 500+ attendee gatherings
- Technology integration: implementing event apps, VR experiences, and hybrid solutions
- Stakeholder communication: presenting progress to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- 8+ years in corporate events management with 3+ in leadership roles
- Proven success executing 50+ events (minimum 200 attendees)
- Expertise in budget management (>$500K events)
- Strong vendor negotiation and contract management skills
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Advanced proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Aventri, Bizzabo)
- Exceptional project management with PMP certification a plus
- Portfolio demonstrating innovative event design and measurable impact
