Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute premium corporate events (galas, conferences, product launches) for 50-500 attendees
- Manage event budgets exceeding $500K with meticulous financial oversight
- Lead vendor negotiations and partnerships with NYC's premier venues and service providers
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including creative, production, and marketing departments
- Develop innovative event concepts aligned with client brand narratives
- Implement risk management protocols and contingency planning
- Conduct post-event analysis and ROI reporting for stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, or related field
- 7+ years of progressive experience in high-end corporate event planning
- Proven budget management for events $250K+
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation preferred
- Expertise in NYC venue landscape and vendor networks
- Advanced proficiency in event management software (Cvent, Eventbrite)
- Exceptional project management and crisis resolution skills
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ complex event executions
