Responsibilities
- End-to-end lifecycle management of premium events (50-500 attendees) from ideation to post-event analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams including vendors, designers, and technical specialists
- Manage $500K+ annual event budgets with meticulous financial oversight
- Develop innovative event concepts leveraging emerging technologies (AR/VR, interactive displays)
- Negotiate contracts with premium venues and exclusive vendor partnerships
- Implement comprehensive risk mitigation and contingency planning protocols
- Conduct post-event ROI analysis and client satisfaction reporting
Qualifications
- 8+ years progressive experience in luxury/corporate event production
- Proven track record managing $500K+ budgets with 95%+ execution success rate
- Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) designation strongly preferred
- Expert proficiency in event tech platforms (Cvent, Bizzabo, EventPro)
- Exceptional crisis management skills with 3+ major event disruptions resolved
- Portfolio featuring 10+ complex multi-day events in diverse industries
- Advanced knowledge of NYC venue landscape and permitting requirements
