Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of multiple large-scale events, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
- Develop comprehensive event strategies, including concept creation, theme development, vendor selection, budget management, and timeline adherence.
- Cultivate strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact and proactively managing expectations and communications throughout the event lifecycle.
- Negotiate contracts with venues, caterers, AV companies, entertainment, and other third-party vendors to secure optimal services and pricing.
- Manage on-site event operations, including staffing, logistics coordination, and problem-solving to ensure a seamless and exceptional attendee experience.
- Prepare detailed post-event reports, including financial reconciliation, attendee feedback analysis, and recommendations for future improvements.
- Mentor and guide junior event staff, fostering a collaborative team environment and contributing to the overall professional development of the department.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in event management to continuously innovate and enhance our service offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in event management, preferably within an agency or large-scale corporate environment.
- Demonstrated success in planning and executing diverse events, including corporate conferences, product launches, galas, and experiential marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
- Proven expertise in budget development, financial tracking, and vendor negotiation.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and motivating event teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Aventri, Eventbrite) and CRM systems.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a keen eye for detail and problem-solving aptitude.
