Responsibilities
- End-to-End Event Lifecycle: Manage the complete lifecycle of events, including concept development, budgeting, vendor selection, on-site supervision, and post-event analysis.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive event strategies that align with client objectives and brand identity, ensuring measurable ROI.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management: Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and C-level executives.
- Financial Oversight: Create and manage detailed budgets, monitor expenses in real-time, and implement cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior event coordinators and manage on-site teams to ensure operational excellence and a positive work environment.
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure all events adhere to local regulations, safety protocols, and accessibility standards.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in events management, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated history of successfully managing high-profile, large-scale events (500+ attendees) in a major metropolitan area.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools (e.g., Asana, Trello, Cvent, Eventbrite).
- Problem Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve critical issues under pressure while maintaining composure.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred.
