Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of events, from concept development and budgeting to final execution and post-event analysis.
- Manage and mentor a team of event coordinators, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance standards.
- Negotiate contracts with vendors, venues, and suppliers to secure the best value and quality for Lumina.
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues during events.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand their vision, ensuring all deliverables align with their strategic goals.
- Track project budgets closely, ensuring profitability while maintaining the highest quality of service.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in event management, specifically within the corporate or luxury events sector.
- Demonstrated experience in managing budgets and leading cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present to C-suite executives.
- Proficiency in event management software (e.g., Cvent, Eventbrite, Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel for site visits.
