Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Conduct regular facility audits and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses to implement corrective actions
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage environmental compliance including air/water permits, waste management, and spill prevention
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability initiatives into operations
- Maintain accurate EHS documentation and prepare regulatory reports
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive EHS experience in industrial/manufacturing settings
- Professional certifications (e.g., CSP, CIH, or CHMM) required
- Advanced knowledge of federal/state EHS regulations (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ)
- Proven experience implementing ISO 14001 and VPP programs
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Cority, Intelex)
- Excellent communication abilities for training and stakeholder engagement
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to multiple sites
