Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems across 15+ industrial sites
- Lead OSHA/EPA compliance initiatives, reducing incident rates by 30%+ annually
- Conduct hazardous material handling training for 500+ employees quarterly
- Manage environmental permits and waste minimization programs
- Investigate workplace incidents and implement corrective action plans
- Collaborate with engineering teams on safety-by-design projects
- Prepare executive EHS reports and present to C-suite leadership
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification
- Expert knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR, EPA regulations, and ISO 14001
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Proven track record in reducing workplace incidents
- Strong analytical skills for root cause analysis
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
