Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular workplace safety audits and environmental compliance inspections
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill response protocols, and pollution prevention initiatives
- Train employees on EHS procedures, emergency preparedness, and sustainable practices
- Oversee environmental monitoring programs including air quality, water conservation, and waste reduction
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EHS into facility design and operational processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 5 years EHS management experience in industrial/manufacturing setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required
- Expert knowledge of OSHA regulations, EPA standards, and local environmental codes
- Strong experience developing and implementing ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 systems
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and data analytics
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences and influence leadership
