Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and local regulations
- Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses using 5-Why methodology
- Conduct workplace safety audits and environmental compliance inspections
- Design and deliver engaging training programs for 500+ employees
- Manage hazardous waste disposal and air quality monitoring programs
- Oversee spill prevention control countermeasure (SPCC) programs
- Analyze EHS data to identify trends and recommend corrective actions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or related field
- 10+ years of EHS experience in manufacturing or energy sector
- OSHA 501 certification and Certified Safety Professional (CSP) designation
- Advanced knowledge of EPA regulations and waste management protocols
- Proven experience implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional communication skills for training and stakeholder engagement
