Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and audit comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA standards
- Lead multi-agency environmental compliance programs including air/water permits, waste management, and spill prevention
- Conduct workplace safety audits and root cause analyses for incidents/accidents
- Develop and deliver engaging EHS training programs for 500+ employees across multiple facilities
- Manage hazardous materials handling, storage, and disposal protocols per RCRA and DOT regulations
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA agencies
- Collaborate with engineering teams on process safety management (PSM) implementations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation required
- Advanced knowledge of EPA, OSHA, TCEQ, and DOT regulations
- Proven expertise in developing ISO 14001 management systems
- Strong data analysis skills with EHS software proficiency (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional incident investigation and root cause analysis capabilities
- OSHA 501 certification or equivalent training credentials
