Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans
- Oversee environmental compliance programs including air/water permits and waste management
- Design and deliver engaging safety training programs for 200+ employees
- Manage industrial hygiene monitoring and PPE protocols
- Drive continuous improvement through data-driven EHS metrics and KPIs
- Coordinate with regulatory agencies during audits and inspections
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) and/or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) credentials
- Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA, TCEQ, and DOT regulations
- Proven experience implementing behavioral-based safety programs
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Strong analytical skills with experience using safety metrics
- OSHA 501 certification or equivalent
