Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS programs aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Conduct regular workplace safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations to identify hazards
- Lead emergency response planning, drills, and crisis management protocols
- Manage environmental compliance including air/water permits, waste disposal, and spill prevention
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for 500+ employees across multiple sites
- Analyze EHS data to track KPIs and report on performance to senior leadership
- Stay current with evolving regulations and industry best practices through continuous learning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Associate Safety Professional (ASP) designation
- Expertise in OSHA compliance, hazardous materials handling, and environmental regulations
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, Enablon) and data analytics
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to influence organizational culture
- Exceptional communication skills for training, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
