Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with OSHA, EPA, and ISO 14001 standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Conduct regular facility audits and safety inspections with actionable reporting
- Coordinate emergency response planning and crisis management protocols
- Manage hazardous waste disposal, spill prevention, and environmental compliance programs
- Deliver engaging safety training programs for all employee levels
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance
- Collaborate with leadership on sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- OSHA 30-hour certification and CHMM or CSP credentials preferred
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software (e.g., Intelex, ProcessMAP)
- Strong knowledge of Texas environmental regulations and federal safety standards
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to train diverse audiences
- Proven track record in implementing successful safety culture transformations
- Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships for EHS services
