Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHA VPP standards
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action implementation
- Manage regulatory compliance for air, water, waste, and workplace safety across 15+ facilities
- Design and execute employee safety training programs with measurable outcomes
- Conduct regular facility audits and spearhead continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability into operational planning
- Prepare and submit required environmental and safety reports to regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial setting
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Deep expertise in EPA, TCEQ, and OSHA regulations with proven compliance track record
- Strong data analysis skills with experience using EHS software (e.g., Enablon, Intelex)
- Exceptional leadership abilities with demonstrated success managing remote teams
- Experience developing and managing EHS budgets exceeding $500K
