Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems aligned with ISO 14001 and OSHAS 18001 standards
- Conduct facility audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations with data-driven corrective actions
- Manage hazardous waste programs, air permitting, and spill response protocols
- Lead employee training initiatives on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and environmental compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability metrics into operational workflows
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure organizational compliance across 15+ facility sites
- Prepare EHS reports for executive leadership and external regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Safety Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years progressive EHS experience in manufacturing or industrial settings
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Expert knowledge of EPA, OSHA, and TCEQ regulations with proven compliance track record
- Advanced proficiency in EHS software platforms (e.g., Enablon, Intelex, or similar)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience developing KPI dashboards
- OSHA 30-hour and HAZWOPER certifications required
- Excellent communication skills with experience presenting to C-suite stakeholders
