EcoSphere Industrial Solutions is seeking a seasoned EHS Manager to oversee our high-compliance operations in Houston. You will spearhead our sustainability initiatives, ensure rigorous adherence to OSHA/EPA standards, and foster a culture of proactive risk management.
This is a high-visibility role designed for a strategic thinker who is as comfortable on the facility floor as they are in the boardroom.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive EHS management systems to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
- Lead root-cause analysis for workplace incidents and implement corrective action plans to prevent recurrence.
- Conduct regular site audits, risk assessments, and environmental impact studies.
- Manage relationships with regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, TCEQ) and lead third-party inspections.
- Design and deliver high-impact safety training programs for a diverse workforce of 500+ employees.
- Oversee hazardous waste management and emissions monitoring programs.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce the company's environmental footprint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive EHS experience in a heavy industrial or manufacturing environment.
- CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CHMM (Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) certification preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Demonstrated success in managing complex multi-site compliance programs.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data-driven safety management software.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
