EcoSphere Industrial Solutions is seeking a proactive EHS Manager to join our Houston facility. In this role, you will be the cornerstone of our safety culture, driving compliance, sustainability, and operational excellence across our manufacturing sites.

You will play a critical role in mitigating environmental impact while ensuring the well-being of our workforce. We are looking for a strategic thinker who can bridge the gap between complex regulatory requirements and practical, on-the-floor safety solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive EHS policies and programs to ensure 100% compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations.
  • Lead facility-wide risk assessments and industrial hygiene surveys to identify and eliminate physical and environmental hazards.
  • Direct incident investigation processes, including root cause analysis and the implementation of corrective/preventive actions.
  • Manage environmental permitting processes, including air quality, hazardous waste management, and wastewater discharge reports.
  • Facilitate high-impact safety training programs for employees, contractors, and management teams.
  • Champion site sustainability initiatives, aiming for a measurable reduction in carbon footprint and waste production.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to integrate safety protocols into new operational workflows.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health and Safety, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive experience in EHS within an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Professional certification highly preferred (CSP, CIH, or CHMM).
  • Deep expertise in federal and Texas state environmental and safety regulations.
  • Proven track record of building a 'safety-first' culture in large, complex operational environments.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
