Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-voltage power distribution systems and PCB layouts using industry-standard tools like Altium Designer.
- Conduct thorough circuit analysis, simulation, and prototyping to validate design specifications before mass production.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical engineers, firmware developers, and product managers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges and best practices.
- Ensure all designs comply with strict regulatory standards, including FCC, CE, and UL safety certifications.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex electronic systems in the lab and field environments.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs, and design for manufacturability (DFM) reports.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in electrical system design, preferably within the tech or renewable energy sector.
- Proven expertise in analog and digital circuit design, with strong knowledge of power electronics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink.
- Hands-on experience with electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
