Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex electrical power systems, including grid-tie inverters and high-voltage DC-DC converters.
- Conduct rigorous simulation testing using MATLAB, Simulink, and PSpice to ensure hardware reliability.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with mechanical and software teams to integrate robust power electronics into product designs.
- Oversee PCB layout reviews, emphasizing EMI/EMC compliance and thermal management optimization.
- Mentor junior engineers and facilitate technical design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Stay at the forefront of industry standards, including IEEE, NEC, and IEC regulatory requirements.
- Author comprehensive technical documentation, design specifications, and test reports for stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in power electronics design and circuit development.
- Advanced proficiency in schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium Designer preferred).
- Strong analytical background in control systems, digital signal processing, and power semiconductor selection (GaN/SiC).
- Proven experience with regulatory certification processes (UL, CE, FCC).
- Exceptional problem-solving capabilities and experience leading technical projects from concept to mass production.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-departmental alignment.
