Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of complex electrical systems, including power distribution and protection schemes.
- Conduct detailed electrical analysis, system modeling, and load flow studies using ETAP or SKM.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate renewable energy sources into existing grid architectures.
- Prepare comprehensive technical specifications, blueprints, and engineering documentation for large-scale projects.
- Oversee electrical equipment procurement, site inspections, and commissioning processes to ensure compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote best practices in design safety and regulatory adherence.
- Develop innovative solutions to improve system efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in power systems engineering or utility-scale energy projects.
- Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, SKM PowerTools, or MATLAB.
- Deep understanding of NEC, NESC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
- Proven ability to manage technical project timelines and coordinate with stakeholders.
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
