Responsibilities
- Design and document complex power distribution systems for large-scale industrial applications.
- Lead electrical automation projects, including PLC programming and SCADA integration.
- Perform detailed load flow analysis, short-circuit studies, and arc flash assessments using ETAP or SKM.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure project compliance with NEC and IEEE standards.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews to maintain high engineering standards.
- Troubleshoot field issues and provide expert technical support during commissioning phases.
- Optimize system efficiency through innovative hardware and software design strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; PE license preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in power systems design or industrial electrical engineering.
- Deep proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical or Revit MEP.
- Extensive knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and NFPA 70E standards.
- Proven expertise in power protection, relay coordination, and medium-voltage equipment.
- Strong analytical skills with experience in complex problem-solving in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for stakeholder management.
