Responsibilities
- Design and document robust power distribution systems, including schematics and wiring diagrams for industrial applications.
- Oversee the full product lifecycle from conceptualization and prototyping to final integration and field testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate PLC, SCADA, and IoT sensors into automation workflows.
- Perform comprehensive load calculations, short-circuit analysis, and arc flash studies to ensure safety compliance.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous design reviews to maintain engineering excellence.
- Liaise with vendors and stakeholders to ensure project milestones are met within budget and technical specifications.
- Utilize advanced simulation software to optimize energy efficiency and thermal performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in electrical system design or power engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Deep proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical, ETAP, SKM, or similar industry-standard design tools.
- Strong understanding of NEC, IEEE, and ANSI standards.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex electro-mechanical systems in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
