Responsibilities
- Design and validate complex electrical power systems, including medium and low voltage distribution networks.
- Develop detailed schematic designs, single-line diagrams, and equipment specifications using AutoCAD and ETAP.
- Lead technical cross-functional teams through the full project lifecycle, from conceptual design to commissioning.
- Perform comprehensive power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, and coordination analysis.
- Ensure all designs comply with NEC, IEEE, and NFPA standards and local building codes.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct rigorous technical peer reviews of project documentation.
- Manage vendor relationships and oversee on-site installations to ensure quality and schedule adherence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent; PE license is highly preferred.
- Minimum of 6+ years of progressive experience in electrical power systems design or industrial automation.
- Expertise in power system modeling software such as ETAP, SKM, or EasyPower.
- In-depth knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70E, and relevant IEC/IEEE standards.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and collaborative communication skills.
- Experience with SCADA systems and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) is a significant advantage.
