Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture, design, and development of high-voltage power conversion systems and control loops.
- Conduct detailed circuit analysis, simulation, and prototyping to validate design concepts before mass production.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including firmware engineers, mechanical designers, and project managers to define product requirements.
- Mentor junior engineers, providing technical guidance and conducting code and design reviews.
- Manage the full lifecycle of electrical components, from BOM creation and vendor selection to qualification testing.
- Ensure all designs comply with IEEE, IEC, and industry-specific safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE/MSEE) with a focus on Power Electronics or Controls.
- Minimum of 5+ years of experience in power system design, preferably in the renewable energy, automotive, or industrial automation sectors.
- Proficiency in circuit simulation tools (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, PSpice, LTspice) and CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD).
- Strong understanding of power electronics topologies, PWM control, and thermal management.
- Experience with ISO 9001 quality standards and design for manufacturing (DFM) principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex system-level issues.
