Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end design of high-speed PCBs and complex electronic assemblies using Altium Designer and Cadence OrCAD.
- Perform rigorous signal integrity (SI), power integrity (PI), and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) analysis.
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews of schematics, BOMs, and layout designs.
- Select and qualify high-performance components, managing vendor relationships and supply chain logistics.
- Develop and execute comprehensive testing and validation protocols to ensure product compliance and reliability.
- Drive innovation in low-power architecture and embedded system design.
- Document all design specifications, test results, and technical reports for regulatory submissions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in hardware design, with a strong preference for RF or high-speed digital circuit experience.
- Proficiency in EDA tools such as Altium Designer, Cadence OrCAD, or KiCad.
- Deep understanding of industry standards including IEC, UL, and FCC regulations.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex analog and digital circuits.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, agile teams.
- Experience with microcontrollers (e.g., ARM Cortex) and FPGA development is a plus.
