Responsibilities
- Lead the design, analysis, and development of complex electrical circuits and power systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (mechanical, software, manufacturing) to integrate electrical components into final products.
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of electrical prototypes to ensure reliability and performance compliance.
- Prepare detailed technical documentation, including schematics, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and test reports.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance on best practices in circuit design and PCB layout.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry standards to drive innovation within the department.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in electrical design, preferably in the renewable energy or consumer electronics sector.
- Proficiency in CAD tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or OrCAD.
- Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design, power electronics, and embedded systems.
- Experience with industry standards (IEC, NEC, UL) and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
