Responsibilities
- Lead design and validation of medium-voltage power distribution systems for solar/wind farms
- Develop PCB schematics and layouts for energy storage management systems
- Perform electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and compliance analysis
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management solutions
- Generate project documentation including BOMs, test plans, and regulatory filings
- Present technical findings to C-suite and external stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years experience in power electronics or energy systems
- Proficiency with AutoCAD, MATLAB/Simulink, and PSpice
- Certification in NFPA 70E or equivalent electrical safety standards
- Experience with high-current (>500A) switching circuit design
- Strong background in EMI/EMC mitigation techniques
- Demonstrated project leadership in ISO 9001 environments
- Published IEEE papers or patents a plus
