Responsibilities
- Lead design and execution of large-scale infrastructure projects (roads, bridges, water systems)
- Perform structural analysis and hydraulic modeling using industry-standard software
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and stakeholder communications
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal engineering regulations
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams (architects, environmental specialists)
- Prepare detailed engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct quality reviews of deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of progressive civil engineering experience
- PE license in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, Revit, and hydraulic modeling software
- Proven track record with complex infrastructure projects
- Strong project management and client relationship skills
- Familiarity with FEMA floodplain mapping and TCEP regulations
- Experience leading teams of 5+ engineers
