Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex PCB layouts using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Lead embedded firmware development for real-time control systems in C/C++
- Perform power electronics analysis and thermal management simulations
- Validate prototypes through rigorous testing protocols (EMC/EMI compliance)
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct design reviews
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on enclosure design integration
- Research emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in high-volume consumer electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence EDA tools
- Strong knowledge of IEEE 802.15.4/Zigbee protocols
- Proven experience with power supply design (PFC, LLC resonant)
- Familiarity with DO-160G aerospace environmental standards
- Hands-on experience with LabVIEW and Python automation
- Active PE license or willingness to obtain within 6 months
