Responsibilities
- Lead design and implementation of high-voltage electrical systems for smart grid deployments
- Conduct power analysis and simulation using industry-standard tools (PSIM, ETAP)
- Develop PCB layouts and schematics for embedded control systems
- Perform EMC/EMI compliance testing and mitigation strategies
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical reviews
- Document engineering specifications and regulatory compliance reports
- Collaborate with R&D team on prototype development and validation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power systems or embedded systems design
- Proficiency with MATLAB/Simulink and SPICE simulation tools
- Strong understanding of NEC/NFPA 70E standards
- Experience with Altium Designer or Cadence Allegro
- Proven track record in hardware bring-up and validation
- Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
- P.E. certification or EIT/FE license preferred
