Responsibilities
- Design and develop complex electrical systems for solar inverters and energy storage solutions
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of prototypes using oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, and simulation tools
- Optimize PCB layouts for high-efficiency power electronics using Altium Designer
- Lead compliance testing to meet UL 1741, IEC 62109, and IEEE 1547 standards
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on thermal management and enclosure design
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
- Research emerging technologies in GaN/SiC semiconductors and wireless power transfer
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in power electronics design and high-voltage systems
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation tools (PSIM, PLECS) and MATLAB/Simulink
- Expertise in Altium Designer for multi-layer PCB layout
- Strong understanding of EMC/EMI design principles and mitigation techniques
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 and product lifecycle management processes
- Experience leading projects from concept to production launch
- Professional Engineer (PE) license desirable
