Responsibilities
- Design and optimize PCB layouts for high-frequency aerospace applications
- Lead electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing and certification processes
- Develop embedded systems using C/C++ and real-time operating systems
- Create comprehensive technical documentation and design specifications
- Collaborate with mechanical teams on integrated system architectures
- Mentor junior engineers through design reviews and code audits
- Research emerging power electronics technologies for aerospace applications
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in aerospace or defense electronics
- Expertise in Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro for PCB design
- Strong knowledge of DO-254 and RTCA DO-160 standards
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink for system modeling
- Certification in high-voltage safety protocols (e.g., NFPA 70E)
- Demonstrated experience with power converters and battery management systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills for complex technical challenges
