Responsibilities
- Design and optimize complex power distribution systems for commercial and industrial applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing IoT-enabled smart grid solutions
- Conduct advanced circuit analysis using SPICE and MATLAB simulations
- Oversee PCB layout and prototyping for high-voltage applications
- Ensure compliance with IEEE 1547 and NEC standards for all projects
- Research emerging energy storage technologies and integration strategies
- Mentor junior engineers through technical reviews and design workshops
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Master's preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power systems design and implementation
- Expertise in AutoCAD Electrical and SolidWorks Electrical
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required
- Proven track record with HVDC transmission projects
- Strong background in renewable energy integration (solar/wind)
- Familiarity with SCADA systems and real-time monitoring platforms
- Experience leading projects with budgets exceeding $2M
