Responsibilities
- Architect and optimize power electronics systems for solar inverters and battery storage solutions
- Lead PCB design and validation using Altium Designer and Cadence Allegro
- Perform thermal analysis and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) testing
- Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical design reviews
- Collaborate with firmware teams on embedded control systems
- Document designs and prepare regulatory compliance documentation (UL, IEC)
- Drive continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and cost reduction
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (MS preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics design
- Expertise in high-voltage DC systems and three-phase inverters
- Proficiency in SPICE simulation and MATLAB/Simulink modeling
- Certification in functional safety (ISO 26262) a plus
- Strong analytical skills with FMEA and root cause analysis experience
- Proven track record in bringing complex systems to production
