Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive digital transformation strategies across multiple public sector departments.
- Lead the migration of legacy mainframe systems to secure, scalable cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure GovCloud).
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and legislative bodies to align technological initiatives with public policy.
- Manage multi-million dollar annual budgets and optimize resource allocation for maximum citizen impact.
- Mentor and lead cross-functional teams of engineers, data scientists, and policy experts in an agile environment.
- Ensure all digital solutions comply with strict federal accessibility (Section 508) and NIST cybersecurity standards.
- Establish data-driven KPIs to measure the success and adoption of new public-facing digital services.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Public Administration, Computer Science, or a related field of study.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in digital transformation, technical project management, or public sector consulting.
- Proven track record of managing large-scale, high-compliance initiatives with diverse stakeholder groups.
- Deep understanding of FedRAMP requirements, data privacy regulations, and government procurement processes.
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical policy makers.
- Active security clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust/Secret clearance.
- PMP, Scrum Master, or SAFe certification is highly desirable.
- Experience with citizen-centric design and UX methodologies in a regulatory environment.
