Responsibilities
- Model Development: Design, train, and deploy state-of-the-art machine learning models (e.g., NLP, Computer Vision, Recommender Systems) using Python and modern frameworks.
- Data Engineering: Lead the end-to-end data lifecycle, from data ingestion and cleaning to feature engineering and model validation.
- Research: Stay abreast of the latest academic research in AI and apply novel techniques to improve existing product performance.
- Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and data-driven solutions.
- Deployment: Oversee the productionization of models using MLOps pipelines, ensuring high availability and monitoring model drift.
- Communication: Present complex analytical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear, compelling, and actionable manner.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn), SQL, and NoSQL databases.
- Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in data science or machine learning roles.
- Tools: Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Algorithms: Deep understanding of statistical inference, probability theory, and optimization algorithms.
