- Ensure all data models adhere to strict regulatory standards and compliance frameworks.
- Present technical findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner.
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science within the banking or fintech sector.
- Expert proficiency in Python (pandas, scikit-learn) and R.
- Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses (e.g., AWS Redshift, Snowflake).
- Deep understanding of financial regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, FCA guidelines).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high-pressure environment.
