Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end development, implementation, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms.
  • Analyze large, complex datasets to identify actionable insights, trends, and opportunities that drive product innovation and business strategy.
  • Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of new features and models.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to define problems, scope solutions, and integrate data science outputs into production systems.
  • Mentor junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of best practices in data science methodologies.
  • Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics tools to support ongoing analysis and reporting needs.
  • Present complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI research, and evangelize new techniques within the team.

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
  • 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist with a strong track record of deploying ML models into production.
  • Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and/or R, along with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Proven experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
  • Deep understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, causal inference, and advanced analytical techniques.
  • Strong proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
