Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end development, implementation, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms.
- Analyze large, complex datasets to identify actionable insights, trends, and opportunities that drive product innovation and business strategy.
- Design and execute A/B tests and other experimental designs to evaluate the impact of new features and models.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to define problems, scope solutions, and integrate data science outputs into production systems.
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of best practices in data science methodologies.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and analytics tools to support ongoing analysis and reporting needs.
- Present complex analytical findings and recommendations clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI research, and evangelize new techniques within the team.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of industry experience as a Data Scientist with a strong track record of deploying ML models into production.
- Expertise in Python (scikit-learn, pandas, NumPy) and/or R, along with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Proven experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Deep understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design, causal inference, and advanced analytical techniques.
- Strong proficiency in big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to diverse audiences.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Matplotlib, Seaborn) is a plus.
