Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end ML pipelines using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
- Translate business objectives into data-driven solutions through statistical modeling and A/B testing
- Lead exploratory data analysis projects using SQL, Spark, and cloud data platforms
- Present findings to executive stakeholders through compelling visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior data scientists and champion best practices in data governance
- Develop real-time prediction systems with <5ms latency requirements
Qualifications
- 5+ years in applied data science with proven impact in tech or e-commerce
- Expert proficiency in Python, R, and SQL with production-level code experience
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating complex ML projects with measurable business outcomes
- Strong understanding of distributed computing (Spark, Dask) and cloud services (AWS/GCP)
- Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow) and CI/CD for ML systems
- Exceptional communication skills translating technical concepts to non-technical audiences
