Responsibilities
- Design and implement end-to-end data science projects using Python, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for predictive analytics, NLP, and recommendation systems
- Create compelling data visualizations and interactive dashboards using Tableau/Power BI
- Partner with product teams to define data-driven roadmaps and success metrics
- Lead A/B testing frameworks and statistical analysis for product optimization
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model governance
- Publish research findings in industry journals and conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years of professional experience in applied data science and analytics
- Expertise in Python/R, SQL, and distributed computing frameworks (Spark/Hadoop)
- Proven track record of deploying production ML models at scale
- Strong statistical analysis skills and experimental design knowledge
- Experience with cloud data warehousing (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
