Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models to solve complex biological and technological problems.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) on large-scale genomic and proteomic datasets to identify key trends and anomalies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of biologists, engineers, and product managers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Optimize existing algorithms for improved speed, accuracy, and computational efficiency.
- Communicate complex data insights and model performance metrics to non-technical stakeholders through clear visualization.
- Maintain and improve data pipelines to ensure high-quality data ingestion and processing.
Qualifications
- Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Physics, Bioinformatics, or a related quantitative field.
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and R.
- Deep understanding of deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment.
