Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy scalable machine learning models to solve complex business problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional product and engineering teams to integrate data-driven insights into core products.
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and optimization opportunities.
- Maintain and improve the performance of existing production recommendation engines.
- Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders through compelling data storytelling and visualizations.
- Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in coding and model evaluation.
- Stay at the forefront of AI research to iterate on our proprietary analytical frameworks.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or statistical modeling.
- Proficiency in Python or R with strong expertise in libraries such as Pandas, Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, or TensorFlow.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience with cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
- Proven track record of deploying models into production environments using MLOps workflows.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks such as Apache Spark is a significant advantage.
