Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy end-to-end machine learning models to solve complex business challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Engineering, and Marketing to define data strategy.
- Perform deep-dive exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden trends and performance bottlenecks.
- Develop automated dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster a culture of technical excellence and peer code reviews.
- Continuously refine model accuracy through advanced feature engineering and hyperparameter tuning.
- Communicate findings and strategic recommendations to executive leadership through compelling data storytelling.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced statistical modeling.
- Expert-level proficiency in Python and SQL; experience with R is a plus.
- Deep understanding of machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
- Proven experience working with cloud-based data environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an ambiguous, high-growth environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
