Responsibilities
- Design and implement advanced threat detection systems across cloud/on-premise environments
- Lead incident response operations for critical security breaches
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments for high-profile clients
- Develop security automation frameworks using Python and Terraform
- Mentor junior engineers and drive security awareness initiatives
- Research emerging attack vectors and contribute to threat intelligence
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines
Qualifications
- 8+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ in senior engineering roles
- Certified CISSP, OSCP, or equivalent industry certification
- Expertise in AWS/Azure security architecture and zero-trust models
- Proficient in SIEM implementation (Splunk/QRadar) and EDR platforms
- Strong background in network security and cryptography principles
- Experience with container security (Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex security concepts to technical teams
