Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced machine learning models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
- Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that inform strategic decisions and product features.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and business teams to define project requirements, deliver data-driven solutions, and communicate findings effectively.
- Develop and maintain robust data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure data quality, integrity, and accessibility.
- Mentor junior data scientists, providing guidance on best practices, methodologies, and career development.
- Research and evaluate new data science techniques, tools, and technologies to continuously improve our analytical capabilities.
- Present complex analytical results and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels of the organization.
Qualifications
- Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or a related analytical role, preferably in a tech-driven environment.
- Expert proficiency in Python (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy) and SQL.
- Proven track record of building and deploying robust machine learning models (e.g., classification, regression, time series, NLP).
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling, experimental design (A/B testing), and causal inference.
- Experience with big data technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or similar distributed computing frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps practices is a plus.
