Responsibilities
- Develop end-to-end data science pipelines from data ingestion to deployment
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover hidden patterns and trends
- Build predictive models for forecasting, classification, and clustering tasks
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into production systems
- Present insights to non-technical stakeholders through compelling visualizations
- Mentor junior data scientists and foster best practices
- Stay current with emerging techniques in NLP, deep learning, and causal inference
Qualifications
- M.S. or Ph.D. in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science or analytics roles
- Expert proficiency in Python (Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
- Advanced SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong statistical modeling background and experimental design expertise
- Proven track record of delivering data products that impact business metrics
- Excellent communication skills with ability to articulate technical concepts
- Experience with MLOps and model deployment in production environments
