Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy predictive models using Python, R, and SQL to solve complex business problems
- Lead end-to-end data science projects from hypothesis to production implementation
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate models into scalable cloud solutions
- Present findings to C-level executives through compelling data visualizations and narratives
- Mentor junior data scientists and establish best practices for model validation
- Drive innovation in A/B testing frameworks and experimental design
- Optimize ML pipelines using AWS/GCP services for performance and cost efficiency
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with proven production-level deployments
- Expertise in statistical modeling (regression, time series, clustering) and ML algorithms
- Proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker) and BI platforms
- Strong programming skills in Python (scikit-learn, TensorFlow) and SQL
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS SageMaker, GCP Vertex AI)
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ complex data science projects with measurable business impact
