Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy predictive models using Python, R, and Spark to optimize business KPIs
- Design A/B tests and statistical frameworks to validate hypotheses and drive data-driven decisions
- Create interactive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI for executive stakeholders
- Lead cross-functional projects with engineering, product, and marketing teams
- Present findings to C-level executives and translate technical concepts into business strategies
- Mentor junior data scientists and contribute to our open-source ML pipeline
Qualifications
- Masters or PhD in Statistics, Computer Science, or related quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science with production ML systems
- Expertise in SQL, Python (scikit-learn, pandas), and distributed computing
- Strong statistical knowledge: experimental design, Bayesian inference, and causal inference
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP) and MLOps tools
- Portfolio demonstrating end-to-end data science projects with business impact
- Excellent communication skills with ability to simplify complex concepts
